Why We Gather
We Gather Because God
Designed Us for Community
From the very beginning, God called His people together to worship, encourage one another, and grow in faith. We’d love for you and your family to join us.

Rice Kids every service
Rice Students evenings
When we come together as a church family, we:
Worship God
Grow in Faith
Encourage one another
Serve together
We gather to celebrate that through His death and resurrection:
Our sins are forgiven. We are made new in Him. We have the hope of eternal life. Salvation is not about what we can do, but about what Christ has already done.
When we gather, we remember His sacrifice, rejoice in His grace, and encourage one another to walk in the new life He gives.
Romans 10:9 reminds us:
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
This is why we gather—because Jesus saves, and together we worship the One who gives us life.
Salvation: The Heart of Why We Gather
At the center of our gathering is the good news of Jesus Christ. We come together because Jesus has offered us the greatest gift—salvation.
