Pastor Dale Levan – Lead Pastor

Pastor Dale has served as Senior Pastor of Rice Church since January 2023. He is passionate about preaching God’s Word, equipping believers, and leading the church to make disciples.

Raised in a pastor’s home in South Carolina, Dale trusted Christ at age nine and later earned his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has pastored churches in South Carolina and Georgia and also served as an IMB missionary in Costa Rica and Argentina.

Dale and his wife, Wanda, have two grown children: Joseph (married to Nina, with sons David and Daniel) and Anna (married to Jim). In his free time, he enjoys painting, Civil War history, fishing, and hunting.

Daniel McGaha – Student & Associate Pastor
Daniel and his wife, Brittany, have been part of Rice Memorial since 2014. Raised in Brevard, North Carolina, he earned a Bachelor’s in Christian Studies from North Greenville University and a Master of Divinity in Student Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Daniel serves on the board of the Lakelands FCA, is Moderator of the Lakelands Baptist Association in 2024, and is vice-chair of the South Carolina Baptist Convention’s Christian Life and Public Affairs Committee. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, collecting vinyl records, and indulging in his yearly tradition of Christmas Tree Cakes each October 21st.

Dionne Harris – Ministry Assistant
Dionne has served as a Baptist Ministry Assistant for over 10 years and joined Rice in 2018. Originally from Greenwood, she now lives in Ninety-Six with her husband, Richard, and their two children.

Dionne is active in the Lakelands Baptist Association, serving on the secretary’s board, and is a member of the South Carolina Baptist Convention’s Ministry Assistant Association. She enjoys reading, traveling with her family, and supporting her children at band competitions. Dionne approaches her role not just as a job, but as a God-given calling and ministry.
