Alvin has been a Christian since 1970. He graduated from Anderson University in 1978, from International Bible Studies in 1983, from Lander University in 1985, and from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 1987. He is currently working on his doctorate with Andersonville Theological Seminary.
He joined the staff at Rice Memorial as senior pastor in January of 1988. He has a love for the local church and enjoys preaching, teaching, evangelism and missions.
He and his wife, Debra, have been married since 1968 and have one son and six grandchildren.
YOUTH AND COLLEGE PASTOR
Daniel joined the staff of Rice Memorial in June of 2014. He is married to Brittany McGaha, a First Grade Teacher at Greenwood Christian School. He enjoys reading, playing golf, drinking Cheerwine, listening to records, and eating at Cookout.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR
Karon handles babies through 5th grade for Rice. She is wonderful at loving our children and teaching them about Jesus. She is married to Dusty Strickland.
Dionne is from Greenwood but currently lives in Ninety-Six. She is married to Richard Harris and they have two children Luke and Karlee. She enjoys spending time with her family.
